Due to conditions that existed on the home prior to construction the use of a custom conservatory combination allowed the homeowners the room size they desired without any major modifications to the home itself. The exterior was painted to match the home and the interior was stained a beautiful dark mahogany. Upon completion of the project the room quickly became the family and dining room where they spend a majority of their relaxation time.

The room uses a combination of full height P1 window panels and knee wall P3 panels all with the additional transom window above. The roof structure is made up of a solid hardwood rafter structure with the insulated roof structure above. The pitch of the roof is a magnificent 12/12 giving the room an interior height at the peak of over 16'. Incorporated in the transom windows is a leaded glass insert patterned to client preference. Cresting and Finial have been installed on the ridge of the roof to finish off the Victorian Sun room addition.

Other features include the full height P1 window panels, a pair of French doors, and the insulated roof system which enables efficient heating and cooling for 4 season use. This sunroom addition incorporates a split heat pump system for the conditioning of the space.

As you can see the Lancaster sunroom is a sun filled family gathering room perfect for reading, knitting, and conversation without the distractions from a television.
